Breakfast in the morning sun, a walk through the forest, a bike ride through the rolling landscape or a day out to Valkenburg or Maastricht. You won’t find large-scale entertainment here. What you will find is peace. Time for each other. And views that never grow boring.

Hoeve Krekelberg is located on the northern flank of the South Limburg hills, surrounded by sunken lanes, gently flowing streams, forests and meadows.
Modern and clean sanitary facilities
In 2021, our sanitary building was completely renovated. The new building is fully equipped with all modern comforts.
Enjoy the outdoor life
The day begins with birdsong and views over the hills. Step straight into nature for a walk, or hop on your bike for a ride through the sunken lanes. In the evening, you relax by your tent, enjoying the peace, the scent of grass and the soft Limburg evening light.

Hospitality runs in our family
We are Jannie and Jelco van der Avoort-Vogels, and we warmly welcome you to Hoeve Krekelberg. The history of our campsite goes back to the 1940s, when Jannie’s grandparents offered campers a place on the grassy hill behind the farm. Today, as the third generation, we are proud to continue this special place for those seeking peace and for families.
We live on the farm ourselves and always welcome our guests personally. Everyone should feel at home here – with space, personal attention and a smile.

We stayed one night at this beautiful campsite. Lovely location, close to a walking area with woodland. Spacious motorhome pitches and excellent sanitary facilities. Everything is well maintained and clearly explained in a comprehensive information booklet. Next year, we’ll stay a few days longer.

During my cycling holiday, I stayed at this beautiful nature campsite. The terraced pitches are beautifully set on a hillside, the sanitary facilities are excellent and cleaned daily. The campsite borders directly on the forest and offers a locked bicycle storage area. An ideal base for exploring South and Central Limburg, as well as Germany and Belgium.
