Our campsite
Peace and greenery, welcome to Hoeve Krekelberg
Hoeve Krekelberg is a well-kept nature campsite with spacious pitches, spread across terraces on a gentle hillside. Thanks to this unique setting, many pitches offer beautiful views over the surrounding hills and the adjacent vineyard. The pitches are generously laid out, with approximately 7 metres of space between them.
The farmhouse itself is a centuries-old, traditional Limburg square farmstead, which is still an active working farm.
We offer peace, greenery and comfort. You will not find large-scale entertainment here, but you will find clean and comfortable facilities for a relaxing stay.
Our guests consciously choose space and nature. That is why we are affiliated with De Groene Koepel. A Nature Camping Card (Natuurkampeerkaart) is required; this can be purchased on arrival for €15.95 per calendar year.

About us
A third generation running the campsite
In the late 1940s, Jannie’s grandparents started a small farm campsite here. Her parents continued this special place with love and dedication for more than 35 years. In 2017, Jannie proudly took over. That she would one day run the campsite came as no surprise to anyone: as a child, she already loved helping out and dreamed of living and working here one day with her own family.
After living in various places in the Netherlands and abroad for ten years, Jannie and Jelco returned to Limburg with their three children – back to their roots. And that truly feels like coming home.
For us, it is important that everyone feels welcome here: with trust, personal attention and a smile.
We look forward to welcoming you to our campsite.

De Groene Koepel Foundation
We are members of the De Groene Koepel Foundation. Our campers consciously choose peace, greenery and space. For this reason, a Natuurkampeerkaart (Nature Camping Card) is required.
The Natuurkampeerkaart can be purchased online via the foundation or directly at our campsite. The card costs €15.95 when purchased on its own. If you also purchase it including the Groene Boekje (Green Guide), the price is €19.95.
The Green Guide contains an overview of all nature campsites affiliated with De Groene Koepel. The membership is valid for one calendar year.

Beautiful, spacious campsite with free choice of pitch and at least 7 metres between pitches. Peaceful and quiet, with separate tent and family-friendly fields. Clean, modern facilities, a visiting baker, and walking trails starting right from the campsite.

A unique place that truly deserves five stars! A spacious pitch with views over the vineyard (tent area), a visiting baker on site, clean sanitary facilities (with music!), and both an ice cream parlour and Alfa Brewery within walking distance made our stay a great success.

Beautiful campsite! On one side, there is an area for families with (young) children, featuring sandpits, playground equipment and go-karts, with parents able to keep an eye on the play area. On the other side, there are terraced pitches overlooking the vineyards. With no cars on the campsite, it is wonderfully quiet and safe.

Location
What fifty years ago was a hillside with grazing cows has grown into a nature campsite with terraces on different levels. This unique layout offers beautiful views from many pitches over the rolling hills of South Limburg.
Do you prefer camping along the edge of the forest, or does an open landscape give you more peace and quiet? Each field has its own character, ensuring you will always find a place that suits you.
On the southern side, you enjoy lovely views over the gently sloping vineyard of our neighbour. To the northwest, the view stretches over the village of Schinnen, with Puth visible on the hill on the horizon. Here, guests can enjoy the sunset evening after evening — a much-loved moment on our campsite.
